Paravacini’s (719) 481-2222 – Great Italian food, maybe a little $$$ for family dining. They also have a restaurant in Old Colorado City – recommend reservations

Briargate

Shangri La Chinese Restaurant (719) 495-1738 – Hands- down best Chinese anywhere (in the opinion of the Shafer household) and unsurpassed service

Northeast

Pueblo Viejo  (719) 266-1999 – Good family dining, great value, very casual

Caspian Café  (719) 528-1155 – Middle Eastern and Greek Cuisine, nice quiet atmosphere, great food

Downtown

Sonterra Grill (719) 471-9222

 

Northwest/West/Manitou Springs

Mission Bell Inn  (719) 685-9089 ( Manitou/Crystal Park area, off the beaten path)

Sunbird Restaurant (719) 598-8990 – Spectacular city views, good food, nice atmosphere

Mona Lisa Fondue (719) 685-0277 – Recommend reservations.  They will seat you in a more private area if you are celebrating a special occasion
